Treasuring Christ Curriculum for teaching the truths of the Bible to our children provides one of the richest and most Christ-centered approaches available. Great care has been taken, both biblically and methodologically, in leading children to see the greatness of God and the glory of Christ through these expanding studies. What a marvelous gift to churches and families!

The Treasuring Christ curriculum is thoughtful, excellent, and Christ-centered. Lessons are both educationally sound and theologically deep. The curriculum combines creative age-directed activities with clear and biblically sound teaching. I highly recommend it.

One of the most serious problems facing Christian churches is the substantial fallout of Christian young people at university and later. This is a rebuke to us, and Providence has come up with a magnificent integrated program for the family called ‘Treasuring Christ’ to enable children moving into teenage years to treasure Christ deeply in their hearts, so that when they go to the university or the workplace they will be able not only to stand firm but to bring others to the Christian faith.

As a youth pastor I come across many different curricula for use in our student ministry. This one I highly endorse because of its background edification for the teacher, and how it connects what Scripture says to life application. Students are not afraid of doctrine, and want to learn what the Bible teaches and why it matters in their life. This series gives them something they desperately need, clear and direct understanding from Scripture that is sound theologically and practical in application.

This curriculum is very impressive, Christ-centered, gospel-saturated. Wow.

The scope of Treasuring Christ is both wide and narrow. It is wide because its scope includes the whole counsel of God’s Word, because it has been developed to foster intentional partnership between church and home, and because it is being offered in such a way that any church can afford it. But it is also focused with laser-beam precision on the gospel and on beauty of Jesus Christ. I highly recommend it.

It is so exciting for me to see a curriculum that is so Christ centered that helps the family. After doing ministry for the past 29 years and dealing with families, I believe the Treasuring Christ Curriculum will help parents and children grow closer together and to the Lord.

Treasuring Christ is exactly what I have been praying for. Biblically grounded, theologically rich, and Christ-centered. It holds up a high bar for students without dismissing age-appropriate sensibilities. But just as important, this curriculum has an outstanding means to connect church and home in the process and will be an indispensable tool in reaching the generations with the Gospel. I could not be more excited about this curriculum!

I have three words to say about the Treasuring Christ Curriculum-”I LOVE IT”! I have seen a lot of great curriculum in my 37 years of ministry but never anything that allows the teaching of God’s Word to be designed specifically for the family to use at home, regardless of the age of the children. What an outstanding asset to today’s families! This is a wonderful asset to making the name of Jesus honored in the home.

I know of no other curriculum resource team that has made the commitment to a unified curriculum that takes seriously the necessity to think through an entire scope and sequence from pre-school through high school and design it in such a way that it meshes and coordinates the biblical training of children of all ages. This material is truly family oriented and parent friendly. The instructional methods recommended to the teachers are based on sound biblical principles and reflect the current educational trends that encourage students to be actively involved as they explore God’s Word and apply it to their individual lives. In the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 1, children who are trained to view life through a Christian worldview will grow to be like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season whatever they do prospers. This curriculum can serve as a powerful tool to aid pastors and Christian families as they pursue this goal for the next generation.

All too often, church-based Christian educators have been guilty of operating in a reactionary mode in their decision regarding curriculum development. The team from Providence Baptist Church has been operating under a different paradigm consistently for years now in their approach to developing the hearts and minds of those entrusted to them through biblically faithful, gospel-centered teaching. I am grateful for how this all comes together in their new Treasuring Christ curriculum and it is my prayer that the LORD uses this to bless churches and families both near and far.

It is rare to find biblically driven curriculum that exalts Jesus and practically connects church and home. The Treasuring Christ curriculum provides ministry leaders everywhere the opportunity to utilize Sunday School or small groups to prepare families for effective faith training in the home while engaging every age group in a systematic study of the Bible. As a ministry leader this is a tool for family discipleship I want in my tool box!

I am very impressed with this curriculum. It is well done theologically, educationally, and aesthetically. I wish our children had had curriculum like this growing up. What a helpful resource for Sunday School teachers and families.

…Now, through the Treasuring Christ Curriculum, parents will be equipped to bring God’s Word to bear in the early years of child-training, preparing them for fruitful, God-honoring lives as young adults. What a gift to all of us!

Every church leader who is paying attention recognizes that the home lives of those we lead will have a major impact on their spiritual growth – and for many, the home life is not doing well. I believe the Treasuring Christ Curriculum addresses this issue in the best way possible: by keeping the focus aimed at Jesus, and the application aimed at the family first. As the home goes, so goes the church… and the community… and the nation. I believe this resource has the potential to impact all three.
